Ethan Hunt is called out of retirement to track down an arms dealer. Slick third instalment that delivers in terms of action, lead actor stunts, and popcorn flick shenanigans, establishing a template for later series entries.
Another review needed? Here’s Lemonsquirtle’s POV.
Kingsmen join with their American equivalent to battle a virus-wielding drug lord. Gleeful but over-stuffed, overlong and indulgent sequel, magnifying the first film’s good points and its issues. Some fun to be had, tho, and Mark Strong gets a crowning moment of awesome.
Very solid 90s Bond, refitting the cycle into post-Cold War realities, excepting dated then-new internet gubbins. The best of the Brosnan flicks, though it recycles (yet again) You Only Live Twice, plot-wise.
