The now-adult Losers’ Club return to Derry to face Pennywise again 27 years later. Oddly baggy second half; the adults don’t get enough attention, and the resolution still doesn’t work. Pennywise turns out to be a lot less scary when facing down grownups. Gives the impression there’s a better miniseries-length edit of the movies somewhere.
A mother with addiction issues is turned into a vampire. Low-key vampirism-as-addiction drama which looks great, but too often mistakes sullenness for seriousness, and which doesn’t invest its characters with much depth or motivation.
A US Civil War veteran swears revenge on the men who killed his dog. Lean spaghetti western homage, equal parts John Wick and Pale Rider, with lots to enjoy if you’re a genre aficionado. Nothing too original, but diverting nevertheless. The cast plainly has fun.
