Triple Threat (2019, dir. Jesse V Johnson)

Mercenaries accidentally free a terrorist. This gleeful team-up of multiple DTV action stars doesn’t quite hang together in story terms, but there’s no doubting the fun to be had if shootouts, martial arts combat and fistfights are your thing.

Mile 22 (2018, dir. Peter Berg)

An elite anti-terrorist squad battles to get an asset across a hostile city. Clunky actioner mistaking thuggishness for badassdom; unlikeable characters don’t help, and the wasting of Uko Iwais is nigh unforgivable. Fourth and least of the Berg/Wahlberg flicks to date.
