Ralph Breaks The Internet (a.k.a Wreck It Ralph 2) (2018, Dir. Phil Johnston, Rich Moore)

Ralph and co return to explore the internet and friendships in a confusing sequel. Not as slapstick or fun as the first film and runs out of ideas and characters about half way through. Disappointing to say the least.

Justice League (2017, dir. Zack Snyder)

After the events of Dawn of Justice, Bruce Wayne assembles a team to combat the new threat of Steppenwolf. Okay series continuation, with a lighter tone; a straightforward plot and a stagey look are distractions from an at-times impressive cast.

Wonder Woman (2017, dir. Patty Jenkins)

An Amazon princess journeys to the outside world to defeat the God of War. Superior superhero origin story, benefitting from freshness of its lead character, a generally light touch, and a well-realised World War 1 period setting.
