Actor Jean Seberg struggles with her personal life, civil rights activism, and the pressures of fearing FBI surveillance. Decent biopic focusing on 1968-1970; a very solid cast and subtle direction help, even if the script doesn’t get us close to the protagonist. Lots to appreciate, not least the production design and performances.

Unthinkable (2010, dir. Gregor Jordan)
An FBI agent and a CIA torturer clash over the questioning of a terrorist. Low-budget but decent moral quandary thriller with some effective performances though ultimately no real answers.
Imperium (2016, dir. Daniel Ragussis)
A nerdy FBI agent goes undercover to thwart a fascist domestic terrorism plot. Standard will-he-get-found-out scenes and some clumsy storytelling mar this otherwise proficient thriller, which takes some time to explore a spectrum of neo-Nazi subcultures.
