The birds and the pigs have to work together to prevent their islands from being destroyed by invaders. Okay dayglo sequel that is consistently funny even if it relies heavily on pop-culture gags and on slapstick side-missions nicked from the Ice Age movies.
A houseful of actors face the Apocalypse. Dumb-but-fun gross-out comedy with a bunch of moderately-famous people playing versions of themselves. Self-indulgent, but everyone is in on the joke and no-one gets harmed. Fine while it’s on.
A deep space colony vessel investigates a strange transmission from an Earth-like world. More Prometheus than Alien, this series entry unevenly balances monster horror and teenagery philosophical musings. Odd, but not uninteresting.
The younger brother of a noble prince is a reluctant quest participant. Handsomely-mounted stoner fantasy romp, with a good cast struggling to make the most of a weak script. A handful of funny moments if you’re feeling indulgent, but that’s about it.
