Incomprehensible nonsense sees vampires and lycans (werewolves, to you and I) fighting for some reason in a series of moodily lit arenas. It’s like a goth version of Soul Calibur and makes as much sense as Kate Beckinsale’s ridiculously tight outfit. 😡
Sci-Fi dystopian nightmare with Urban ably filling the huge comic book shoes of the titular Judge. Stand out turns from Thirlby and Headey alongside brutal slo-mo drug slayings bring Dredd bang up to date. Violent, dark, brutal and unmissable. 😀
Ritchie from Happy Days directs this true story Sci-fi sequel to Forrest Gump, where Tom Hanks plays luckiest man on earth again and lieutenant Dan fails to complete mission due to some ailment, but still finds redemption. Ed Harris triumphant as usual.
Michael Keaton’s magnetic performance at the centre of a smart, satisfying biopic that traces the rise of one of America’s most influential businessmen and the birth of one of its most far-reaching industries. Clever and worth the watch 🙂
Bleached Sci-Fi yarn with Tom Cruise trying to remember how to use more than 4 facial expressions. Interesting if a tad predictable and over long with nice VFX. Tries to be over-clever and fails to deliver at the end. Good, but wear sunglasses! 🙂
A documentary making female child and rapping younger brother go on a dull voyage of familial discovery uncovering an obvious plot twist. Shyamalan demonstrates how to remove all tension and interest from a film. Watch paint drying instead. Crap! 😦
Randy and sweaty mercenary type with jet powered sword goes on revenge mission to reclaim his lost throne from a tyrant using the powers of an ugly, randy and barely seen sorcerer. 80s adventure hijinks that milks the Conan teet. Stupid but fun 🙂
