The Mummy (2017, dir. Alex Kurtzman)

Strangely enjoyable mess of a film. While Tom Cruise may take top billing, a delirious turn from Russell Crowe steals the show. More interested in setting up its lore than telling a coherent story, this still entertains if you don’t question it too much.
